I felt the topic was very timely as we search for new understandings and the HOW of applying evangelization skills to our ministry. It was the most informative, formational, and nourishing event I have been to hosted by the Arch[diocese] so far. I plan to implement this immediately by focusing more on providing encounters with Jesus, not just providing programs, and spending more time and effort accompanying individuals in my parish, especially my youth.

As this year has been a struggle for me in my new assignment, I feel as if Holy Spirit sent Kristin FOR ME! There was so much that she articulated that was on my heart but I did not know how to put it into words or action. My time last week left me with 11 different statements that I am posting next to my desk as I make may plans for the young people in my parish next year.

I’ve been thinking about the witness on your family you shared at the Discipleship Formation Seminar I and I am so thankful that you did. It struck me so profoundly and beautifully, that I am still thinking about it. Your courage and the way you were able to simply be honest really resonated with me and my own family, so thank you. Thank you for being willing to share it because it encouraged me to pursue my own healing. It still has a long way to go, but it’s on its way.

My catechists and I really enjoyed your talk on discipleship and catechesis. I think many really did have a few “take-aways” they will be incorporating into their lives and those children and youth they serve.
